The Dean Street Block Association
Purpose: 

The purpose of the Dean Street Block Association is to achieve, and maintain, the aesthetic quality and general safety of the neighborhood it encompasses and represents, balancing the needs of the community¹s residents, businesses, property owners, and government, through the use of an open process of communication and collaboration, whereby all of the neighborhood¹s members may involve themselves in the affairs of the neighborhood and remain in contact with other block associations.

Membership: 

Membership in the Association is open to people who are owners, leaseholders, or residents of property on Dean Street between 6th Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue, and businesses that own, lease, or otherwise occupy property on Dean Street between 6th Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue
that:

  • subscribe to the aforementioned purposes of the Association,
  • abide by the bylaws and such other rules and regulations the Association may formally adopt, and
  • provide written notification to the Secretary of the Association of the Member¹s eligibility, including the Member¹s name, legal street address, legal mailing address, telephone number, and email address if applicable.
Meetings: 

Dean Street Block Association meetings take place monthly on the third Monday of the month at 7:30 pm. Locations vary and are publicized by email and flyer.
