State Senator Eric Adams calls for historic district in Prospect Heights

In a letter dated November 12, 2007 to Landmarks Preservation Commission Chairman Robert Tierney, State Senator Eric Adams expresses support for historic designation for the Prospect Heights neighborhood.
The State Senator writes, "The strong Brooklyn real estate market and the construction of Atlantic Yards bordering Prospect Heights will exert significant pressures on this neighborhood. A potent protection against inappropriate development and a powerful reduction in the exposure to increased density would promote the stability of this community."
PHNDC thanks State Senator Adams for his support for this critical effort to preserve the character and scale of Prospect Heights.
