Enjoy a day in the park, and meet your local elected officials and police officers! Join the 77th Precinct Community Council for National Night Out Against Crime.
National Night Out's purpose is to
Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
Generate support for and participation in local anticrime programs
Strengthen Neighborhood spirit and police-community relationships
Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
The event will also include a health fair with free mammograms from 11AM to 4PM, and free child IDs from 10AM to 4PM.
Free barbecue and refreshments will be served. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed in the park.
