The 'Friends of the Berms' will conduct another cleaning and greening of our Plaza Street Berms on Saturday August 1 at 10:00!
Good news! The visit from State Senator Eric Adams and City Councilwoman Tish James has been RESCHEDULED, and will once again coincide with the berm clean-up. They'll be touring the Grand Army Plaza area with Grand Army Plaza Coalition's 'Quality of Life' Committee, led by Andrew Saunders. What better way to encourage our electeds to support needed improvements in the GAP area than to show them a sizable group of committed volunteers, sleeves rolled up and hard at work!
As usual, the group will meet at the corner of Plaza Street and Vanderbilt Avenue, and work from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Adults and supervised children are welcome. Gloves and tools are provided.
