The Friends of the Berms will meet once more - on Saturday July 11 - before breaking for summer.
We'll have special visitors that day - State Senator Eric Adams and City Councilwoman Tish James will be touring the Grand Army Plaza area with Grand Army Plaza Coalition's 'Quality of Life' Committee, led by our fellow Friend of the Berms, Andrew Saunders. What better way to encourage our electeds to support needed improvements in the GAP area than to show them a sizable group of committed volunteers, sleeves rolled up and hard at work!
As usual, we'll meet at the corner of Plaza Street and Vanderbilt Avenue, and work from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Adults and supervised children are welcome. Gloves and tools are provided.
